Practical guides

Learn the workflow,
then ship the post.

Each guide answers one useful question in plain English, with the next action ready to copy.

01 / The basics

What is PostNitro?

PostNitro is a design engine for social content. You can start with a topic, article URL, X post or your own text, then generate a branded carousel, image post or short animated video. The editor also supports manual changes, so the AI draft is a starting point rather than a locked result.

Scheduling is a plan-dependent feature. The current official facts page says native publishing covers LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook Pages and Pinterest boards. X is a source and export format rather than a native destination.

First project

Make your first carousel in five steps.

Choose one audience, one promise and one action. Then let PostNitro handle the first layout pass.

  1. Write the promise. “After this, you can…” is a useful test.
  2. Choose the format. Five to seven slides is enough for a first test.
  3. Give the AI guardrails. Add audience, tone, language and what to avoid.
  4. Review the middle. The hook gets attention; the middle earns the swipe.
  5. Export or schedule. Keep the first version simple and learn from the live post.

Repurposing

Turn one article into a useful carousel.

Do not paste the whole article and ask for a summary. Give the content a job.

One idea→Five claims→One action

Ask for one clear idea per slide, a concrete example, a visual suggestion and a short close. This keeps the design readable and makes the post easier to edit.

Automation

Should you use the API, MCP or CLI?

Use the editor when you are shaping one important post. Use programmatic access when a repeatable workflow matters.

API

Best for your own app or backend.

MCP

Best when an AI assistant should call PostNitro tools.

CLI

Best for scripts, cron jobs and CI pipelines.
